Mobile usage of your iPhone, as it is sold by Vodafone Germany, is possible only if a Vodafone SIM card (Vodafone Germany) is inserted.

If your phone was originally acquired more than 24 months ago at a local Vodafone store in Germany or at the online store of Vodafone Germany, we will provide the unlock code free of charge upon request.

The iPhone will not be eligible for unlocking until late of autumn of 2012. You can then provide the IMEI code to have your iPhone unlocked: Settings/Einstellungen > General/Allgemein > Info.
