A Chinese company called XIACHAO has a created a product that slightly resembles Nokia’s N800 internet tablet. The Chinese version is quite different though, both in OS and types of applications. For example the Chinese version - which is called UMPC001 - runs on Windows CE 5.0 where as Nokia N800 runs on Linux.
However UMPC001 was able to throw in more hardware components than Finnish. For example, UMPC001 comes with an integrated GPS receiver to offer navigation feature and it also comes with an integrated built camera. Other features include SD/MMC card slot and Wi-Fi just like Nokia N800. In addition UMPC001 also provides applications such as Skype, various games, MSN, Internet Explorer, MS Office, and other multimedia features.
However if we were Nokia we wouldn’t worry too much. It is obvious that the Chinese company did not even bother to provide a picture of their own product -which probably will not even exist until they find a buyer - but went ahead and photoshopped a fake digital camera on top of the device and pasted a screenshot from another Windows device…
